SCHOLARSHIP WINNER
MISS BRIDGES FAREWELLED Miss Bridges, New Zealand's first nurse to be sent to England under the Florence Nightingale Scholarship scheme, was farcwelled at a luncheon given at Messrs. Milne aud Choyce by the council members of the local branch of the Registered Nurses' Association last week. Mrs. Moses, the president of the association, presented Miss Bridges with a posy fashioned of red, white and blue flowers (the association's colours). Others present were: —Miss C. E. A. Coldicutt, Dr. Gladys Montgomery, Miss Nutsey, Miss A. Bagley, Miss W. Baglev. Miss Mirams. Miss Jackson, Mrs. W. Gilmour and Mrs. A. M. Harcsnape.
