TENNIS AT AGE OF 80

f Regarded as probably one of the oldest tennis players in the Dominion Mr. J. McCoskrie, of Heme Bay, who is the patron of the Y.M.C.A. Lawn Tennis Club, celebrated his 80th birthday on Friday. At a gathering of friends at the home of Mr. W. H. Fortune, Heme Bay, on Friday evening, Mr. McCoskrie was presented with a letter of congratulation and a Y.M.C.A. blazer. Mr. McCoskrie has been an active, member of the Y.M.C.A. club for the past 20 years, and is one of its most energetic players. He has taken a deep interest in the activities of the club and in 1931 he was elected a life member. For the past two years he has been patron.
