DISASTROUS FIRE
BAZAAR IN INDIA PLIGHT OF REFUGEES CALCUTTA, July 5 Fire swept through the bazaar at Abhottabad, an important military station in the North-West Frontier Province. In spite of the efforts of the fire brigade, police and military the entire Indian business quarter was destroyed. Thousands of women and children I were rushed from their homes into a i refugee camp in the municipal park.
