RESCUE OF OCCUPANTS MISHAP IN TORRES STRAIT [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] "WELLINGTON, Sunday The Director-General of the Post and Telegraph Department has received the following warning, which was broadcast by radio from Thursday Island: — u A small schooner, in a sinking condition, is reported four miles north-west by west of Booby Island, Torres Strait. The occupants have already been rescued."
