A HUNT DANCF BRIDE-ELECT HONOURED A large gathering of hunting people and other friends ol Miss Addie Brown, daughter of Mr. Wynn Brown, master of the hunt took place at the Leamington Hall, last. week. Miss Brown, who is to married this week, is well known throughout the district as hostess at numerous hunt teas and for her hospitality upon other occasions. The evening in her honour took the form of a dance, interspersed with items, the latter including songs by Mrs. George Vosper and Mr. J. Hawworth, and humour by Mr. F. I>. Wooldriilge. A presentation ot a silver teaservice was made by Mr. (... Meredith on behalf of the members ol the hunt. Miss Brown was wearing a black velvet frock and a coatee ot velvet spotted in gold. Mrs. Hewett, Roto-o-rangi, and her daughter. Mrs. G. Goodwin, of Wellington. are visiting Rotorua. Mrs. IT. F. Williams, Leamington, has returned from Auckland. M iss Nancy Armstrong has returned from a three months' holiday in the South Island. Miss B. M. Griflith, of Cambridge, ha< been appointed assistant mistress at the Goodwood school.
