Although Mrs. Forbes and Mrs. C'oates arrived rather late they stayed for a long while, and were delighted to meet many Now Zealand friends, among whom were:- —Mrs. F. S. I larston, Mrs. .J. Mrs. Graham Robertson, Mrs. \\ . I'l. James and Miss James, Mrs. and Miss Morico, Mrs. F. G. L. Whiteaway. Mrs. Lindo Levien and Miss Levien, Mrs. Garcia Webster, Miss Flanagan. Miss L. J. Walton, .Miss Sutton, Miss Mart, Miss Grace Wilkinson. Miss M. Orbell, Miss M. Parsons, Miss F. Driscoll and .Miss M. Miller. The New Zealand friends of Miss Ivlitli Cocks, of W'aimate, will be interested to hear that she has been appointed nurse-matron at the Carreras cigarette factory, in London, which has -1000 employees. Miss Cocks, whose father is now Hector ot Clovelly, Devonshore, received her protessional training at Christchurch Public Hospital and at AYaimate. Miss Mollic Marshall, Auckland, who has been granted leave- of absence from the staff of lona College, JLavelock North, is at present taking an eight months' course in dietetics at the Royal Northern Hospital, London. She is a graduate in home science, of Otago University. At the conclusion of her study in London, Miss Marshall expects to tour Fngland and Scotland, mid will probably return via the United States and take a short course in dietetics in an American hospital. Her tour will probably occupy from ]8 months to two years. Miss Given Ritchards, of St. Stephen's Avenue. Parnell, is staying at Chiswick, London, with Mrs. Grenvillo Mver, nee Roma Raw, of Wellington.
