INTEREST IN DOMINION MR. J. P. MOODABE RETURNS Statements that a large Australian motion picture combine might consider invading the New Zealand field were 7 discussed on Saturday by Mr. J- - P. Moodabe, managing director of Amalgamated Theatres, Limited, who , returned by the Mariposa after a ~ six weeks' visit to' Australia. The r combine, Mr. Moodabo said, was n one in which an important dis- - tributing firm was interested, and it had been announced that it was contemplating acquiring a circuit of - theatres in the Dominion. However, as far as he knew, the project had not been carried beyond the stage of preliminary discussions. Sir.
