THE LABOUR BUREAU
IMPROVEMENTS IN PROSPECT APPROVAL OF MR. BROMLEY An inspection of the labour bureau on tho old railway station site was mado by Mr. W. Bromley, deputychairman of tho Unemployment Board, yesterday morning. Advice was subsequently received by the Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, that Mr. Bromley had agreed that improvements should bo made to the accommodation at tho bureau and had undertaken to arrange to have these carried out. Details of tho improvements will be gone into upon tho return of Mr. Bromley to Auckland to-morrow afternoon, when the matter will bo discussed with tho Public Works Department.
