It was pointed out that teams representing Nelson and "Wellington Colleges played the first inter-school Rugby match in New Zea land in 1878. The letter was referred to the executive. A discussion took place regarding the main college building. Tho retiring president, Mr. W. C. However, the executive felt that the association's support in urging the Government to replace the building-, which was seriouslv damaged by the earthquake in ] 931, would be welcome. Messrs. Pitt, Holdon-Webb, and Sclanders were appointed a committee for the purpose of compiling a complete jregister of the old bo\s of the college. 3dr. G. Samuel was elected president ci the association.
