NORTH SHORE GOLF

ANNUAL BALL HELD As in previous years, the fifth annual ball of the North Shore Golf Club, which was held last evening: ft the Pirate Ship, Milford. was a great sue- j cess. The lower deck, which was used j for dancing, was decorated with ferns : and wattle, and the simper deck was J artistically hung with baskets of fern j and wistaria. The tables were arranged | in the club colours, blue, red and cold, tall vases of Iceland poppies and wis- . taria being placed alone the tables. The guests were received by the vicepresidents.
