DAY OF MOURNING JUNE 30 SET ASIDE THE EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS THOUSANDS OF BODIES By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright » (Received June 25, 8.35 p.m.) CALCUTTA, June 25 On the suggestion of Rajendra Prasad, president of the National Congress, June 30 is to he observed as a day of mourning throughout India for the victims of the Quetta earthquake. This week the Viceroy, the Karl of Willingdon, and the Commander-in-Chief, Field-Marshal Sir Philip Chetwode, will travel by aeroplane from Simla to Quetta, where they will spend two days and discuss with the authorities the question whether the city shall be used in future as a military or civil station. Gangs of men engaged in the demolition of the earthquake areas have recovered several thousand bodies. Severe tremors are still being felt every day.
