SOUTH AMERICA FOURTEEN LIVES LOST TWO AEROPLANES COLLIDE FIVE PEOPLE INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright (Received June 25, 5.5 p.m.) VANCOUVER. June 24 A message from Bogota, Colombia, states that 14 people were killed, including Carlos Gardel, a South American fdm star, and Ecnesto Samper, known as " the Lindbergh of Colombia," when Samper's aeroplane, in taking off at Medellin, 200 miles to the north-west, crashed into another machine on the field. Both aeroplanes burst into flames. Five other people were injured.
