THE TAUPIRI CLUB [from our own correspondent] TAUPIRI. Tuesday The report presented at the annual meeting of the Taupiri Croquet Club disclosed a very satisfactory year's operations. The membership was well maintained and prospects for the coming season were very bright The balance-sheet disclosed a small credit balance. The election of officers resulted Patrons. Misdames C. M. Gleeson and F. H Durbridge; president. Mrs. R. E Hunter; vice-presidents, Me«dames F. Catley and F. A. Wilson; secretary, Mrs. T. B. McDowell; treasurer, Mrs. J. D. Bruce; committee. Mesdanies A. W Buss, G Horwood, A. Shepherd, E. Sowmun and S. J. Stanley: handicapper, Mrs. Shepherd; selectors. Mrs. Horwood and Mrs. Sowman; green superintendent, Mrs. Stanley; auditor. Mr. R. E. Hunter; delegate to South Auckland Centre Mrs. A. Shepherd.
