Notice is hereby given that the Waitemata Electric-Power Board proposes at its Meeting to be held on lath July, 1935. to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £'loo,ooo (One Hundred Thousand Pounds) for the purpose of purchasing, constructing and providing electric works as defined in " The ElectricPowor B"ards Act, 1325," in order to supply and to extend the supply of electricity within the whole of the Waitemata ElectricPower District. It is proposed to borrow the sum of £IOO,OOO, to be ?aised with the consent of the Local Government loans Board in the manner following:— (a) £35,000 (Thirty-five Thousand Pounds) in such instalments us may be required. (b) £05,000 (Sixty-five Thousand Pounds) only after re-submission to the Local Government Loans Board, and with their approval. (c) For the purpose of securing the repayment of the said Special Loan, a Special Annually-recurring Rate of 18/128ths (Eighteen One Hundred and Twenty-eights) of a Penny in tho £ will be made and levied upon the Rateable Value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all the Rateable Properly within the whole of the rWaitemata ElectricPower District.
