AN ABANDONED DOG
Sir, —Last week a man with a supercilious smile on his fane came clown in his car to the end of Byron Avenue, Takapuna, and having dropped a li.ttle terrier on the grass drove up the road at a furious pace, leaving the little dog at the mercy of those who watched the proceedings, but were unfortunately too late to take the number of the car. Perhaps one day this man may have cause to regret such cruel treatment to a dumb animal. Justice doesn't sleep. Florence Worthing ton.
