MAN FOUND DEAD
BODY NEAR A GAS TUBE [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] MASTERTON, Tuesday A man named Fredrick Nicholson, who had a room in the Academy Buildings, opposite the post office, was found dead to-day alongside a gas tube. It appeared that death had occurred probably two days ago. Deceased, who followed the occupation of a cook, had been in the Wairarapa district since the war. He was a single man, with no relatives in New Zealand.
