EXTENSIONS OF SUPPLY [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Tuesday The engineer to the Franklin Elec-tric-Power Board, Mr. L. ■G. Sharp, reported at a meeting to-day that the 11,000 volt line at Maioro, Waiuku, consisting of 15 poles, a transformer sub-station, a mile of high teusion and 30 chains of low-tension wiring had been livened. Two miles of double circuit 11,000 volt wiring had been run out on the Bombav-Pukekohe line. The engineer was given permission to erect a 11,000 volt line to serve three settlers at Ararimu at an estimated cost of £2SO. It was also decided to have improvements made to the Tuakau reticulation at a cost of £'l7o. On the recommendations of a special committee it Avas decided to authorise the engineer to call tenders to hnve the workshops extended.
