TOKANUI HOSPITAL
TWO NEW VILLAS [from 'our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday Authority has been given for tho erection of two additional villas for the accommodation of 102 patients and eight members of the staff at the Tokanui Mental Hospital. Tho accommoda tion at Tokanui has been greatly increased m recent years by the erection of self-contained villas which arc fulh equipped with dormitories, dining rooms, kitchens and sitting rooms. The majority of the patients are only mildly afflicted, and many of them are employed as labourers on the extensive farm property which surrounds the hospital buildings. There are now 630 patients at Tokanui. Tenders for the new villas have been called.
