TRAM SERVICES
CUSTOMS STREET INTERESTS A resolution urging tho Transport Board to consider inaugurating more frequent tram services through Anzac Avenue to relieve the traffic congestion in Queen Street was carried at a meeting of tho Customs Street East Area Business Promotion Association on Monday night. It was also decided that, in view of the largo number of tram passengers alighting at the stop at tho corner of Emily Place and Beach Road, to ask tho City Council to provide a shelter at this point.
