CONDEMNED CHAUFFEUR DEATH SENTENCE STANDS LONDON. June 24 Ruling out the plea that Mrs. Rafctenbury and her chauffeur, George Percy Stoner, should have been tried separately on the charge of murdering the former's husband, the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Hewart. dismissed Stoner's appeal against the sentence of death passed upon him •without hearing the Crown's case and without permitting Stoner to give evidence.
