ONEH UN 6A TOURNAMENT The Onehunga Bowling' Club held a fullrink tournament on -Thursday and yesterday. In section A, H. Sray (Remuera) tied with Parsons (Ponsonby), the former winning the play-off. Section B was won outright by G. Hosking (Carlton). The final resulted as follows:—Gordon, Pollard, J. Mason. G. Hosking. 18. v. Riordan, Keys, McMillan, Bray. 12 EPSOM CLUB A full-rink tournament will be held by the Epsom Bowling Club next Tuesday. The following entered Livingstone. ■ Gatland (Onehunga), O'Callaghan, Leach and Kelly (Epsom). McKenzie (Ellerslie), Sanderson (Remuera). Casey and Hosking (Carlton), McKeggie (Mount Albert), Delamore (Mount Eden), Hollier (Mangere). THE MANGERE CLUB There was a large attendance at the annual meeting of the Mangere Bowling Club, and the president. Mr. J. Sommers. remarked that the interest shown augured well for the coming season. The report rind balance-sheet covering last year's activities showed that satisfactory progress had been maintained both in membership and finances. It was decided to enter in the Auckland Centre's pennant competition Officers elected were:—Patron. Mr. G. J. Garland; president, Mr. R. G. Prangley; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. E. Fricker and A. Solomon: secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Key; green superintendent, Mr. J. Hollier; assistant superintendent, Mr. W. Douglas; management committee, Messrs. J. Wilson. W. Knight. A. Sampson, S. W. House, J. Clark and W. Pirie: sole selector, Mr. H. Revell; deputy-selector, Mr. S. Clark: tournament committee, Messrs. J. Wilson. J. Hollier, J. Granger, W. Knight, and J. Sommers; steward. Mr. J. Hollier; auditor, Mr. R. A. R. Entingr: coaches. Messrs, Knight and Prangley: delegates to Auckland Centre. Messrs. Prangley and Frickej; umpire, Mr. Knight. OTAHUHU CLUB Good prospects for the ensuing season were indicated in the affairs of the Otahuhu Bowling Club, as disclosed at the annual meeting. Mr. D. J. Williams presided. The annual report and balance showed that the treatment of the greens and the installation of a steriliser last season had been a strain on the club finances. In spite of that, however, the position was considered satisfactory, and prospects were bright for the coming fieanon. It was decided to enter eight teams m the Auckland Centre pennant competition and to arrange five inter-club matches for the season Club competitions would be on the same lines as last season.
