DEPARTURE OF KILONSOA MORE LEAVING NEXT WEEK FIVE FOR J. T. JAMIESON The three-year-old filly Kilonsoa was shipped to Sydney en route to Melbourne in charge of her trainer J. L. Gray, by the Wanganella yesterday. The 1? and wick trainer J. T. .Jamieson, and his stable jockey E. Bartle, accompanied by Mrs. Bartle, who have been spending a holiday in New Zealand, also returned to Sydney by the same steamer. Kilonsoa is by Kilbioney from the Catmint mare Alonsoa. She has not done a great deal of racing, but she has been successful at her last two starts. She won the Junior Stakes at Whangarei in April and a fortnight later she also scored in the Rosebank Handicap at Avonddle, winning decisively from a fairly big field over seven furlongs in 1.29 'l-5. So far her racing has been confined to minor company, but she is an improver who has yet to reveal her best form.

A further shipment of horses will leave for Sydney by the Monowai next Friday, when King Musk Gay Seton, Captain Bruce and the rising two-year-old colts by Iliad —Sunkissed and Night Raid —Sennight will be despatched to join J. T. Jamieson's team. King Musk, the four-year-old gelding by Musketoon from Queen Arch, has been purchased by Jamieson. Gay Seton is a smart sprinter and is a four-year-old by Gay Shield from Persis. He is owned by Messrs. C. Matthews arid J. Sklenars.

Captain Bruce is a two-year-old colt by Cftptain Bunsby from Lady Bruce, by Robert the Bruce —Miss Ethel, by Wairiki Miss Hose, by Dreadnought, He belongs to the same family as the speedy Gold Money and is 6wned by his breeder, W. Kemp, for whom he will be trained by Jamieson. Captain Bruce displayed some promise in liis enrly sprints, but lie has been troubled at times with soreness and lias not yet raced. The colts by Iliad—Sunkissed and Night Raid—Sennight were purchased at tho Trentham yearling sales in January for 180 and C 75 guineas respectively, the latter being acquired by Mr. R. A. McLean, for whom Jamieson previously trained Impudent. The youngsters have since been located at Glenora Park, whore they were broken in by R. Miller. Both are nicely bred. Sunkissed is an imported mare by Sunstar—Kiss Cannon, by Gay Crusader. Sennight, dam of Weatherwise, is by Comet from the imported mare Week End. by Holiday House. _ During his visit to New Zealand Jamieson secured on lease from Mr. C. Matthews a rising two-year-old colt by Gay Shield from Kitty Barlowe, by NassauSweet Alice, by Soult—Princess Alice, by Brigadier. Tho youngster will remain in New Zealand for the present, but will later be transferred to Australia. The rising two-year-old colts by digger Minstrel—Brava<lo, and by_ Chief Ruler— Lady Pym, are also to be sh'ipped to Sydney by the Monowai next Friday. They were purchased at the Trentham yearling sales in January by J. T. Cush, owner-trainer of the Caulfield Cup winner 'Journal, for 500 and 100 guineas respectively. The youngsters have been located at Takanini since their purchase and have also been broken in by R. Miller.
