TO REMOVE MARKING INK
It is so oasv to drop a spot of marking ink on an article being marked, but not so easy to remove it. Try this method. Soak tbe unwanted marking ink in a solution of chloride of lime until it has turned from black to white. Take out the linen and put it into some ammonia, or ammonia and water, for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly in clean water, when the stain should have disappeared.
