STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR
MAN SERIOUSLY HURT A middlo-aged man, Mr. John Hay, of Hastings, who is visiting Manurewa, was struck by a motor-car near the junction of Great South Road and Manukau Road. Newmarket, shortly after 9.30 last night. He suffered severe head injuries and was rendered unconscious. The injured man was taken to tho Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is fairly seriom.
