CANTON WARSHIPS
REASON FOR MUTINY DESIRE TO HELP NANKING HONGKONG, June 19 The rebel warships Hai Chi and Hai Shen anchored at Hongkong to-day. The commanders stated that • their reason for leaving Canton was the belief that their services would be more useful to the Nanking Government in view of the serious situation in North China. They propose coaling here and then proceeding northward.
