THE SHERIDAN PLAYERS
The Sheridan PKyers hold their fortlliglltl.v club evening in the .National Council of Women's club rooms on Tuesday, when three one-act plays were presented. The producers were Misses Eileen Stenson and Nancy Warren, and there was a very large attendance of members and friends. The plays were "The Lovely Miracle" (a fantasy), the players being Misses E. Stenson, N. Warren, J. Steele and Mr. Hex Savers; "Smokescreens" (a modern play), the cast including Misses N. McLeod, I) Dunbar, N. McDonald and E. Slenson; and "Shanghai" (a drama of the days of sailing ships), the cast in this case being Misses M. Spooner, N. Warren and Messrs. L. Ryan and H. Newcombe. During the evening songs wero rendered by Miss Clements and Miss Norma McLeod also gave a dramatic recital. Incidental music was rendered by Mrs. Craik.
