MAUNGAKIEKIE GOLF

BRIDGE EVENING HELD The clubhouse of the Maungakiekie Golf Club was a very bright and cheerful place last evening, when a large number of players attended a bridge party organised by the entertainment committee of the club. Pink camellias and hydrangeas were arranged in the dining room and in the two lounges yellow and brown Josephines looked very decorative. Thd cosy warmth of fires was another pleasant addition to the evening's entertainment. Between 28 and 30 tables were in use by the players. The committee comprised Miss A. Grove, Miss M. Haslett, Miss Betty Abbott, Miss E. Schnaiier, Miss K. Churton, Mr. J. Rankin, Mr. R. G. Milligan and Mr. K. Hay ward. Among the ladies present were:— Mrs. J. M. Elliffe, Mrs. Norman Burton, Mrs. W.
