FURTHER ANNUAL MEETINGS EPSOM CLUB'S OFFICERS * A very sound financial position was ( shown by the report presented at the J annual meeting of the Epsom Bowling Club. PONSONBV CLUB There was a large attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Ponsonby Bowling Club. The balance-sheet showed the finances to be in a sound condition. The report stated that many improvements to the pavilion and surroundings had been carried out. The greens were in excellent condition and well advanced for an early opening next season. The sum of £IOO had been paid off the mortgage for each of the two preceding years, and another £IOO was in hand to be paid off immediately. . The following officers were elected President, Mr. G. Thursday The annual meeting of the Hamilton Bowl* ing Club was held last evening. Mr, W. B. Pomeroy presiding over an attendance of 60 members. In its annual? report, the committee stated that the club membership had increased to 105. a figure in excess of those _ registered for many years. The financial re- » port was particularly gratifying, the statement of accounts showing: a credit of £27, against a debit of £l6 for the previous season. The assets amounted to £216. and there were no liabilities. . \ The club's appreciation was accorded the efforts of Mr. G. W. Hyde, the green supervisor, and to the greenkeeper, Mr. h. Harvey, in maintaining the excellent condition of the greens throughout a particularly dry season. Members of the club had competed suecessfully in various tournaments. Con-, gratulations were extended to R. N. Pilbington and H. G. Loveridge for their suecess in winning the pairs competition at the Dominion championships. W. Craw-', shawi J. Anchor. W.
