SENIOR GRADE MATCHES RICHMOND AND MT. ALBERT THE TWO LEADING TEAMS ' . The second series of matches in tho second round of the Auckland Rugby League's senior championship will be played to-morrow, when some thrilling football is anticipated, especially in. the principal fixture between Richmond and Mount Albert. Richmond, last year's champion team, has suffered one defeat to date, while Mount Albert, the newly-promoted senior side this season, has been beafen once and has also played two drawn, games. Richmond, therefore, has a lead of two points, and a win for Mount Albert to-morrow would bring the teams level. Richmond, however, will prove a hard team to beat, but Mount Albert will Ixs all out to lower tho colours of the champions. As a curtain-raiser, ivlarist v/ill try conclusions with Ponsonby, and this match should provide plentv of open football. The Marist forwards are nkely to prove the deciding: factor, but if the Ponsonby backs have reasonable chances the team has good prospects of taking the honours. On the No. 2 ground Devonport. will meet City, Both teams have shown improvement in recent matches, and a good game should result, Lower grade competitions will be continued to-mor^j^'.
