NEW OFFICERS ELECTED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] PALMERSTON NORTH. Thursday The annual meeting of the Friesian Association elected Mr. H. E. Johnson, of Tokoara, Hawera, president, and Messrs. J). J. McGowan, of Auckland, and J. Hart, of Morrinsville, vice-presi-dents. The Hereford breeders' annual meeting elected Mr. F. E. Humphries, of Gisborne, president, and Messrs. J. Brice, of Marton, and A. S. Holms, of Waimahaka, vice-presidents. The following officers were elected by the New Zealand Red Poll Cattle Breeders' • Association: —Patron, Sir Heaton Rhodes; Mr. J. W. Harding; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Donaldson and W. Leask; four vacancies on the council, Messrs. N. Inder, J. Donaldson, D. F. McLeod, G. S. Young; executive committee, Messrs. L. C. Anderson, J. W. Harding, G. R. Forster-Pratt, G. McLeod, L. J. Wild; secretary and treasurer, Mr. L. J. Wild; auditor, Mr. A. R. Miers; trustees, Me§srs. J. W. Harding and L. J. Wild.
