RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges and the return from investment at the quoted price. The exchange premium on dividends payable in sterling is included in the calculation of returns. The yield on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption and that on 3} per cent loans is for interest alone and covers only the period for which the loans are tax-free.

THE MINING MARKET WAIHIS SELL UNCHANGED WEAKER DEMAND SHOWN / 1 There was a further easing in support for the Waihi mining issues on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Waihis sold unchanged at 37s and Waihi •Junctions Id cheaper at 4s Id. Golden Dawns 'were done at the current rate, while Big Rivers gained Id in a transfer at 2s 3d.
