LONDON MARKET FIRM 87/- PER CWT. MAINTAINED DAIRY BOARD'S REPORT Now Zealand finest butter is quoted on the London market unchanged at 87s per cwt., according to a cablegram, dated June 15, received by Joseph Nathan and Company, Limited, from its London principals, Trengrouse and Nathan, Limited. Forward selling in Auckland continues on the basis of IOJd per lb. f.0.b., equal to 92s per cwt-, London. The New Zealand Dairy Board has received the following market report from its London office, dated June 14 (quotations for the previous week being given in parentheses):— Butter.—New Zealand: .Salted, 86s, equals approx. 9.98 d, f.o.b. (83s); unsalted, 83s to 86s (81s to 83s). Deliveries: New Zealand, 1157 tons (last year, 1238 tons); in store, 6088 tons (last week 6824 tons, last year 11,570 tens). Australian: Salted, 84s (82s); unsalted, 83s to 84s (82s). Deliveries: Australian, 1552 tons (last year 1378 tons); in store, 8355 tons (last week 8146 tons, last year 8790 tons). The market is firm. New Zealand retail price unchanged, lOd. South African: 79s (74d to 7Ss). Irish cream: Salted, 84s (80s); xmsalted, 84s to 86s (80s). Danish: 101s to 102s spot, 78s f.o.b. (98s spot, 76s to 77s f.0.b.). Dutch: Unsalted, 76s to 78s, ex. 83s (755, ex. 83s). Estonian: Unsalted, 78s. Siberian: Salted, 79s to 80s (76s to 78s). Polish: Salted, 73s to 745, ex. 75s (71s to 735). Lithuanian: Unsalted, 75s to 78s (74s to 78s). The market is firm. Danish retail price unchanged, Is.

Imperial Economic Committee's estimated stocks all butters, 993,133 boxes (last year, 1,476,831). Cheese. —New* Zealand: White and coloured, 445, approx. 4.63 d f.o.b. (43s to 43s 6d). Deliveries: New Zealand, 15,131 crates (last year 22,219 crates); in store, 165,160 crates (last year 145,055 crates). Australian: White and coloured, 42s (425). The market is steadier at the close. Ptikekohe. At the beginning of last week the market was unsteady at 14s 6d per cwt. Cauliilowers are scarce and are priced at 9s 9d a large sack; cabbages, Drumhead, 7s 9d a large sack, and Savoy 8s 6d a large sack; swedes, 2s 3d a sugar b;ig; carrots, 2s a sugar bag; parsnips, 2s 9d a sugar bag; pickling onions, 4s 6d a sugar bag; cabbage plants, Is a 100: cauliflower plants, Is 3d a 10(i. It is expected that onion plants will be available in about 10 days' time.
