CONTESTS ON SATURDAY PRESBYTERIAN CLUB'S EVENTS The Presbyterian Harrier Club held a run, starting from St. Luke's Church, Remuera, on Saturday. Results were as follows: Fast Pack.—J. I. B. Mclndoe, 4: J. Frankham. 5. Racing Pack.—V. O. Field, 1. WESLEY CLUB A run of approximately seven miles was held by the Wesley Harrier Club, starting from the Parnell school. The second of a series of handicap runs-in was held over a distance of 880 yds. Results were as follows: Fast Pack.—l. Spooner, 1; V. Wynn, 2; M. Hewitson, 3: S. Cole, 4; A. Graham. 5. UNIVERSITY CLUB The University Harrier Club held a run of seven miles on Saturday, starting from the Mount Roskill school. Following are the results:—H. Maxwell, 1; J. Graham, 2; H. McElroy, 3; D. Kenrick, 4. A sprint of 100 yds resulted as follows: Maxwell and Stevenson, dead-heat, 1; Kay, 3; Hall, 4; Long, 5; Graham, 6. TECHNICAL OLD BOYS' CLUB Following are the results of the run of nine miles held at Mission Bay by the Technical Old Boys' Harrier Club:— Slow Pack.—Ohms, 1; Taylor. 2; Swindells, 3; Wiltshire, 4; Nicholson, 5. CALLIOPE CLUB The Calliope Harrier Club held a run of four miles on Satuiday. Following are the results of a series of graded sprints:—First heat: Clayton, 1; Turner, 2: Ward, 3. Second heat: Wallace. 1: Clapham, 2; Sanders and Drummond, dead-heat, 3. Third heat: Davis, 1; Smellie, 2; Clow, 3. Fourth heat: Uahakoff, 1; Turner, 2; Hardman, 3. AUCKLAND BAPTIST CLUB A race for novices and veternns was held by the Auckland Baptist Harrier Club on Saturday over a course of 41 miles. There were 17 starters, novices and veterans running together. S. Edgar won by one minute from R. Busfield, with D. D. Knight five seconds behind, third. Crothall, 28m 30s, 3. EDMOND CUP EVENT [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Saturday In one of the best races since the inception of the event, W. A. C. Pullar, New Zealand cross-country champion, repeated his success of Inst year in the Edmomd Cup Steeplechase, which was conducted by the Dunedin Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club, New Zealand's oldest harrier club, at Wingatui this afternoon over a three-mile course. Individual placings were:—W. A. C. Pullar, 1; L. C. McLachlan, 2; A. R. Geddes, 3; I. D. Craig, 4; T. Allen, 5; J. H. McLaren, 6; J. G. Barnes, 7: W. A. Stewart, 8; L. Lemon, 9; L. J. Logan, ip. The win ner's time was 16m 29 2-ss. Of 185 starters 163 completed the course.
