ACCIDENT AT HOCKEY
PAEROA PLAYER HURT [by telegraph OWN' correspondent"] PAEROA. Saturday While playing in a hockey match in Paeroa to-day, Miss Joy Pivott, of Paeroa, suffered an injury to her head. She was endeavouring to stop a rush when she was accidentally struck by an opponent's stick, a deep cut being inflicted. After receiving attention from members of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, Miss Pivott was conveyed to the Paeroa Hospital. Her condition is not serious.
