WAIHIS AGAIN LOWER HOLDERS DOWN TO 37s 3d Waihis were again weaker on the Auckland Stock Exchange on Saturday, when dealing took place at 37s 3d, a fall of 6d. Holders weakened by Is to the same figure, but buyers were 3d firmer at 375. HEMP AND TOW GRADINGS IN DOMINION Gradings of hemp at New Zealand ports during May totalled 1928 hales, an increase of 15 hales over the total for May, WM. The totals for the various* ports were: —Auckland, 556 bales; Wellington, 950; Picton, 51; Blen'Jieim, 24; Bluff, 344. irrndings compare with those of May, ]!):{), a S follows: —Good fair, 293 (196) bales; high fair, 530 (7m-, low fair 528 (426); common, 304 (310); rejected and condemned, 273 (242). Tow gradings totalled 390 hales, against 224 bales in May last year, the totals for the ports being as follows: Auckland, 139 bales; Wellington, 6/; Picton, 17; Bluff, 172. Altogether 24 bales of stripper slips, against 11 bales in Mav, 1934, were graded.

BRITISH TREASURY BILLS (Received June 9, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, June 8 The amount applied for this week in tenders for £40,000,000 worth of Treasury bills was £'46.830,000.
