WOMAN DEPUTY-MAYOR
For the third tiFne in succession Miss Margaret Magill, a Wellington infant mistress, has been elected to the Eastbourne Borough Council. She has twice topped the poll and acts as deputymayor. 'Miss Magill is a brilliant and forceful speaker and is always one of the principal speakers on important deputations from the council.
