v V " • The Anglican Church building fund benefited to the extent of approximately £o, as the result of the presentation of the three-act play, "Homeward Bound," in the Coronation Hall at Albany, by the Northcotc and Birkenhead Amateur Dramatic Society. This was produced under the direction of Mr. Los Watson. and was greatly enjoyed by tho large audience. Those who took part were: —Misses Vera Faulkner, Eunice Bell and Blanche Dave.v, Messrs. Les Watson, Roy Drummond, Harold Sinel, David Lunnv, F. G. Fullbrook and Leo o'Mai ley. The vicar, the Rev. H. L. R. Ishorwood. thanked the society for the splendid effort, and congratulated the performers on the able manner in which the various characters had been portrayed.
