WHITE BUTTERFLIES
CAMPAIGN AGAINST PESTS PROPOSAL AT TE AROHA [from our own correspondent] TE AROHA. Thursday The white butterfly pest was dis cussed at a meeting of the Te Aroha Chamber of Commerce. A letter was received from the Te ArohoThames Valley Co-operative Dairy Company, stating that its directors were in sympathy with the object of the chamber in endeavouring to cope with the pest next season. It was decided to proceed with the scheme, under which prizes ranging up j to five guineas will be given to schoolchildren for the extermination of the pests.
