Mrs. J. Pears and Miss K. Pears, Wellington, are at'the Grand Hotel. Mrs. W. A. Fairclough, Remuera Road, is visiting Taupo and Rotorua. Mrs. A. Blok, of Holland, is visiting Auckland and the Hotel Cargen. Mrs. Jack Parr, of Remuera, is the guest of Mrs. George Shand, Highland Park, Wellington. Miss Margaret Ball,' of England, is the guest of Misses Barton and Johnston, at Brown's Bay. Miss S. Otter, of Okaihau, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Carl Joggs, at Hemi Street, Devonport. Mrs. D. Radcliffe and Miss M. King. Whakatane, and Miss A. M. Norton, Christchurch, are at the Central Hotel. Mrs. Kindred and Miss W. Kindred, Stanley Point, Devonport, left last evening for Wellington where they will in future reside. Mrs. A- Fallaver, of Eketahuna, who has been visiting Mrs. F. E. Wilson, Stanley Point, Devonport, left last evening on her return home. Mrs. A. K. England, of Christchurch, will arrive in Auckland this week to visit her daughter, Mrs. Norman Henley, Arney Crescent, Remuera. Mrs. A. Cotterill, Tokoinaru Bay, Mrs. G. A. Sache, Waiuku, Miss L. K. Myers, London, and Miss G. Buddie, Christchurch, are at the Station Hotel. Mrs. Aubrey Hollingworth, of Colombo, who has been spending several months in Auckland and Whangarei, will leave by the Wanganella on Friday for Sydney, en route to Ceylon. An enthusiastic audience enjoyed the variety concert of Neville Carlsen's Revue Company at Ward 22A at the Auckland Hospital last evening. The Carlton Cabaret band led, and encores were frequent. The performers included:—Misses Mavis Reilly, Betty Lelean, Shirley Lelean, Betty Keen, Gloria Lelean. Joy Young, and Messrs. Alf Stentoford, Les Hallis, Tom Burnitt. Jack Driscoll, George and Neville Carlsen.
