FROSTS AT TAUPO
FINE, CLEAR WEATHER [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TAUPO, Monday The weather at Taupo in the past week has been fine, with temperatures considerably lower than in the previous month. Frosts were experienced on eight consecutive days and, although the mornings have been cold, beautifully clear, sunny days have followed. Last week the minimum temperatures varied between 2.5 degrees and 30 degrees, with an average of 26.8 degrees. This morning 11 degrees of frost were registered.
