VERDICT OF GUILTY
A charge of indecently assaulting a girl four years of age, preferred against Leonard Alfred White, aged 35, was heard by Mr. Justice Reed in the Supreme' Court yesterday. The offence was alleged to havo taken place on December 21. Mr. R. Meredith conducted the prosecution and Mr. Hall Skelton appeared, for the defence. Accused gave evidence denying the offence, and in explanation of admissions he had made to a detective. The jury returned in a quarter of an hour with a verdict of guilty, and accused was remanded for sentence.
