ALLEGED CHANCE METHOD
COMPETITION AND PRIZES PROSECUTION FAILS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] "WELLINGTON, Saturday A decision was given by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., to-day in a case in which Adams, Bruce, Limited, were charged with commencing a scheme by which prizes are competed for by the mode of chance. Prizes were offered for lists of varieties of chocolates most nearly corresponding to the correct order of sales of the ten most popular varieties. The magistrate decided that the competition was not illegal and dismissed the charge.
