MORNING RECEPTION MEMBERS' WIVES ENTERTAIN To enable the wives of the members of the Auckland Rotary Club to meet Mrs. Paul P. Harris, of Chicago, wife of the founder of the Rotary movement, a morning reception was held in the Milne and Choyce Reception Hall yesterday. Large bowls of richly coloured chrysanthemums and foliage were arranged in the hall and the tables were decorated with pale green candles and pale yellow chrysanthemums. The guests were received by Mrs. G. L. Taylor, wife of the Auckland president, who wore a fawn cloth ensemble under a musquash coat and a fawn velour hat. Mrs. Harris was in a black cloth suit with a maize tunic blouse and a black velour hat. At the official table with Mrs. Taylor were the guest of honour, Mrs. Paul Harris, Lady Fowlds, Lady Wilson, Mrs. G. W. Hutchison, Mrs. Charles Rhodes and Mrs. Gordon Luke.

A brief account of their trip to New Zealand and the meeting of members of the Rotary movement was given by Mrs. Harris, who among her various activities, is a member of the International Committee for Crippled Children in Chicago. The wonderful work being done in various centres throughout the world for these children was also spoken of by Mrs. Harris, who appealed to the women of Auckland to take a keen and active part in tue work being organised for the children in New Zealand.
