PAINT STAINS
Wet paint is easy to remove if the stain is nibbed with a similar piece <?f material, but dry stains are far more stubborn. Chloroform is the best medium for removing old stains, arid it should be applied, bv means of a piece of cotton wool Paraffin is frequently successful when used on garments which may afterwards be washed. Turpentine will remove splashes of paint from furniture, and need be used only sparingly. Glass which has also been affected will come clean if treated with turpentine. Varnish splashes may be removed with methylated spirit.
