May 2 The Paris correspondent of the Daily Mail states that . the dead body of a French airman floated gently to earth attached to a parachute after the aeroplane in which he had been flying over Chateau Roux at a height of 3500 feet was cut in two in a collision with another machine. The airman was killed as the machines met. A second man leapt out unhurt, but was killed when he crashed to the ground owing to bin parachute not opening. The only other occupant of the other machine was thrown out of the codkpit, but with the aid of his parachute reached the ground safely.
