OPOTIKI ASSOCIATION REVIVAL OF ACTIVITIES [uy telegraph—OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI, Thursday The Opotiki Boxing Association, which hits been dormant lor several years, was revived last night at a well-attended meeting, over which Mr. J. Moody presided. The election of officers. resulted:—Patron, Mr. 0. 8. Moody; president, Mr. <T. J. Moody; vice-presidents. Messrs. J. O'Sullivan, A. Stephenson, E. W. Oswald. IJ. Walker, S. M. Joptison, T. Hendry, and ,E. Sargent; secretary, Mr. T. Hicky; treasurer, Mr. H. Larmer; honorury surgeons, Drs. Budd and Candy: committee, Messrs. J. Shaw, L, Mcintosh, T. N. Hill, V. Mulhern, S. M. Jephson, A. G-. Stevenson, J. O'Sitllivnn, sen. and jun., M. Kearney; trainer, Mr. B. Mulhern. Mr. J. Shaw was elected a life member. Funds in hand from the old association totalled £l6.
