HEN EGGS DEARER GOOD SUPPLIES OF FISH A rise of Id a dozen to 2s 3d for hen eggs is the principal change in the retail prices of foodstuffs during the past week. Duck eggs have become scarcer, but values are the same. Supplies of fruit and vegetables have been good, but there has been only a fair demand since the Easter holidays. Fiji bananas in sound condition are now realising <kl to 5d a pound, slightly higher rates than previously.
