ROYAL EASTER SHOW
SUCCESS IN SYDNEY CATTLE RECORDS BROKEN QUALITY AND NUMBERS (Received April 15, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. April 15 The Royal Easter Show was opened to-day in fine, cool weather. There were record entries, and it is anticipated, provided the weather remains satisfactory, that this year's show will eclipse all previous displays. The cattle were judged to-day and were highly praised by experts. Mr. Anthony Hordern, who is a notable cattle breeder, said it was the finest show of cattle Sydney had ever had.. There was no "tail" to the quality. Mr. G. C. Somerville, secretary of the Royal Agricultural Society, said that in quality and numbers all the cattle records were broken this year.
