CYCLONE SUFFERERS
CABINET GRANTS £SOOO PEARLING FLEET DISASTER (Received April 15, 5.5 p.m.) CANBERRA, April 15 The Federal Cabinet has granted £SOOO to assist sufferers from the Broome pearling fleet disaster. A cyclone off Broome two weeks ago caused the loss of 21 pearling luggers, and 140 men were drowned.
