MAUI POMARE'S ARRIVAL
FEWER BANANAS CARRIED [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH. Monday The Government motor-ship Maui Pomare arrived this morning from Apia, via Nine Island. Owing to damage at the Islands, caused by the recent hurricane, the cargo of bananas is smaller than usual, but the fruit has arrived in excellent condition.
